Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport is located 11 km south of the central business district of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It is the world’s busiest airport by passenger traffic, serving 90 million passengers per year, as well as by number of landings and take-offs. The airport is the primary hub of Delta Air Lines, AirTran Airways, Delta Connection under the Shuttle America name, and Delta Connection partner Atlantic Southeast Airlines.

Georgia is a state in the United States. Georgia is bordered on the south by Florida; on the east by the Atlantic Ocean and South Carolina; on the west by Alabama and by Florida in the extreme southwest; and on the north by Tennessee and North Carolina. The northern part of the state is in the Blue Ridge Mountains, a mountain range in the vast Appalachian Mountains system. The central piedmont extends from the foothills to the fall line, where the rivers cascade down in elevation to the continental coastal plain of the southern part of the state.
